Hi, I’m Wally. I spent many years working really hard as an investment banker in NYC, Hong Kong and right here in San Francisco. In addition to depriving myself of sleep and natural sunlight, I learned that there weren’t any convenient in-home dining and dinner party options for time-starved professionals who enjoy great food. So I decided to do something about it.
My first experience with cooking was an apple pie that I baked for my mother when I was seven. It was very, very bad. So many years later I flew to London and trained at Le Cordon Bleu to remedy this. Though it does not appear on our menu, my mom attests to the fact that my apple pie tastes much better now that it doesn’t have bits of egg shell and whole apples in it.
When I started Wally’s Food Company the goal I set out to accomplish was to make great tasting gourmet food for our customers to enjoy. So I put together a team of chefs who shared my passion for making food the old fashion way – by hand, with care and from scratch using only fresh, natural ingredients.
